on another note, fedora server comes with a "cockpit": a pretty webui where you can see everything going on your server, access to the terminal, see logs of failed services... i'm pretty sure it's because i checked some box in the installer but i found this really cool after setting up most of my infrastructure with NixOS :3
took my whole afternoon just to setup this iceshrimp instance. i wanted to set-up something different and spin up a Fedora Server VM. I also wanted to play with podman but it kind of got messy with SELinux complaining about postgres container. The real reason isn't that though because adding the z flag at the end seemed enough. I couldn't manage to connect to the database (yeah, i did use the name of the service "db" and not localhost/127.0.0.1). Manual installation turned out annoying because i had to move everything into its little folder and all. But now seems like everything is working fine :)

I'm a ~20yrs person, I love computers, everything related to textiles (sewing, crochet, pattern making, etc…) cooking and music. I do some sports such as inline rollerblade / ice skater (freestyle), and running. Would also love swimming again!!
In my free time, i enjoy taking walks, and sip some lemon / strawberry flavored water. I speak FR (native), EN (C1ish), RU (A2ish in 2023, idk now).
